I originally met Len in the early 1990s when he started his real estate career at my RE/MAX Office. As a retired Realtor, I knew I needed a strong agent who could make the best of our crazy market. I had not seen Len Harris for many years.

Len Harris is an individual who has had an interesting and diverse career path. He started his professional journey by joining the Canadian Forces in 1975 as a Combat Engineer, where he gained various skills including bridge building, mine warfare, demolition, and hand-to-hand combat. During his time in the military, he also developed discipline, self-confidence, and focus.

In 1990, Len decided to leave the Canadian Armed Forces and transition into the real estate industry, despite being just five years away from a lifetime pension. He also became the #1 RE/MAX Agent in the “City of Ottawa.” Len’s dedication and success in the industry were further recognized when he was awarded the RE/MAX International ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ in 2005.

In 2009, Len decided to return home to British Columbia to be closer to his aging mother. He continued to work as a realtor, specializing in listing and selling luxury homes priced between two and six million dollars. while working at Sotheby’s International Realty – Canada. He gained expertise in representing sellers of high-end real estate during this time.

In 2018, Len returned to Ottawa and resumed his real estate career, this time as a member of the ‘Right at Home Realty’ team. Throughout his career, Len Harris has demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and a knack for excelling in challenging situations, making him a successful and accomplished real estate professional.

I had purchased a new home in Southern Ontario to be near family. When my Ottawa property was ready for the market, Covid 19 was rampant. I talked to another Realtor before meeting Len Harris, but she did not seem able to meet my needs, had little knowledge about the market, and lacked the excitement I felt my property deserved.
